Hi from Katz,
Firstly, I’ve just registered and use this section for a brief intro.

Old warez participants may remember me, as I was a VIP member of the first life of the legendary ProjectW and its several successors, unfortunately practically all defunct, and have maintained presence on the scene at several boards till now.

My interests include GFX (graphics) and I’ve designed many celebration logos for many boards for many years. Also been active in the discussions and computer help sections.

Now, taking this opportunity to reflect back, I see the warez scene has been declining over the years, while social media is prospering – wrongly in my view.

So, what do you think is the cause of this, what is the future of warez, and how the scene should move forward to avoid further decline?

Nice to see you here Katz. Social media is all about the me generation that needs to be told they are great every 5 minutes. The warez scene has morphed over the years from a genuine competitive environment in wanting to be first with releases whilst these days apps in particular are being used to spread malware intended to ultimately steal user passwords etc for many reasons, most which will cost folks dearly.
