Writing winning grants is a highly sought after skill in today's world. All of us have dreams and passions, both in our professional lives and in our lives as members of our communities. And how many times have you wanted to act on that dream, passion or inspiration, but stopped yourself, thinking: "I could do that; if only I had the money.."? And, with more than 300,000 funding sources out there (many with multiple grant making programs!), there is funding available for skilled grant writers. You can do this!Learning the seven techniques in this course will help each student pursue greater (or even first-time) grant writing success. For beginners, this course will teach you the techniques that you need to know to get that necessary funding to carry out your inspiration. For more experienced grant writers, you will learn some tips to further develop your "secret sauce" to make your proposals stand out to grant makers.Students will learn seven specific strategies to create winning grant requests. Hands-on activities are also included so students can develop a specific proposal, or simply practice the skills and techniques. Finally, resources are included about funding resources and additional ways to develop your grant writing skill.
